He said, “Trump will not last forever, but the threat from Russia will remain. It is not important to us that Putin does not attack as long as Trump is in power. We need a permanent security guarantee that will last even after both Trump and Putin are out of power.”Zelensky sent a clear message to former US President Donald Trump, saying, “The $500 billion in aid we received from the US is not a loan. I do not consider even $100 billion a loan. Biden and I agreed that the US gave us aid, which is not a loan.”
