The External Affairs Secretary of India, Harsh V Shringla, is arriving Nepal on November 26 for a two-day visit.

Indian External Affairs Secretary Shringla is visiting Nepal at the invitation of his Nepali counterpart Bharatraj Poudel. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the visit is a continuation of the high-level exchange visit between Nepal and India.

On the first day of his visit, Shringla is scheduled to participate in the Foreign Secretary-level meeting between Nepal and India.

On the first day of the visit, the foreign secretaries of the two countries will hold a bilateral meeting and discuss wide-ranging areas of cooperation between Nepal and India, according to the ministry.

The meeting is expected to dwell on various aspects of bilateral ties between the two countries. Likewise, Shringla will pay a courtesy call on various high-ranking dignitaries in Nepal. During the visit, Indian assistance for COVID-19 response would be undertaken as well. Shringla is scheduled to return home on November 27.
