Jerusalem – Mrs. Kanta Rijal , newly appointed Nepalese Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Nepal to the State of Israel , has presented her ” Letter of Credence ” to Mr. Isaac Herzog , President of Israel on 9 August , 2022 at the President’s Residence , Jerusalem .

Government of Nepal is accrediting her as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Nepal to Israel.

Ambassador Rizal was greeted and received by the President Herzog at the Residence following the presentation of Credentials .

Ambassador Rizal who addressed the President in Hebrew during her opening remarks while presenting Credentials , expressed her gratitude towards hospitality and warmth Israel has extended to her .

She , admiring the Israeli technology , thanked Israel for extending support in various areas including Agriculture , Tourism , Health , Education and Security among others . She said , she hopes to work with him to strengthen and deepen the friendship between Nepal and the State of Israel .

The President assured the Ambassador Rijal to expand the cooperation according to the need of Nepal .

The Ambassador Rijal invited the President Herzog to visit Nepal .

President Herzog admired Nepal with beautiful words in a way that he knows everything about Nepal . He expressed his gratitude towards Nepali workers who are caring elderly population in Israel and also praised the Nepali peacekeepers working in many UN missions stationed in and around Israel tirelessly for the regional stability .

He reiterated that Israel values the friendship between Nepal and Israel that than six decades .

The ceremony was attended by high ranking government officials from State of Israel and diplomatic staffs from the Embassy of Nepal including the Israeli Media .

The ceremony concluded with Rizal signing the Guest Book at the President’s Residence .
